Noodle Sort

I know this is a pretty simple little activity, however Gavin loves it! He likes the way the noodles sound hitting the muffin pan. He loves putting them in the different spots. He likes to examine the way the noodles feel.  He also loves to throw them on the floor!  Have a broom handy ;) It's a good activity to have the littles do while getting a quick chore done.  If your babes are still shoving everything in their mouths, it's probably best to watch them like a hawk instead of doing something that diverts your attention. (I put him on the floor next to me in the kitchen while I made lunch. This way, I can supervise with a close eye while I'm getting lunch made!)

I really love this activity because it consists of things I can grab very quickly.

Dry noodles (I used Rigatoni and Rotini)  and a muffin tin. Pretty simple.

I like to put the noodles in a tupperware. This way, when G-man is done, I can just close it up and store them for another play time.

Fun stuff!

This is the point he noticed the camera and decided what I had was more fun than what he was doing.

When we put the lid on, I showed him how he could shake it to make sound.

In just a few minutes we explored a few senses.

Try out using your muffin tin for a sort! The possibilities are endless with items you can use!
