Feeling stuck

This weekend was dragging on a bit, as we were feeling stuck in the house, so I took the kids over to Prince William Forest Park. I had planned to go on the scenic drive because it's just long enough for me to get out for a bit and just short enough for the kids to have a happy drive in the car. We didn't end up making the whole drive though.  We stopped at one of the parking lots off of the drive and walked down to the creek where the kids played for a couple of hours. Ava and I sat on the sandy bank and watched them splash around.  You can see Gavin becoming upset when he got his face wet :( I love how the soft sand sparkled off of Ava's feet in the sunlight.

We leave for Georgia in just two days! I feel like I'm counting down the minutes and stressing over packing way too much.
