Mary's Rock

While my mom was visiting we decided to head to Shenandoah to take a little hike.  It was a beautiful day and the warmest of the days I'd been up there this year. Gavin hiked up quite a while and then threw his self on the ground to take a nap.  At this point I put him in the Ergo and he passed right out! We made it to the top where we had the most incredible view.  It was a beautiful hike.  Their were some natural springs pouring out onto the trail which made for some great splashing.  The wild flowers had begun to bloom and the blue color was breathtaking.  A wonderful hike. We stopped at our favorite Sperryville restaurant on the way down and ate pizza. A Zini tradition now, I think.
